Create and manage your account.
Store your Safety Plan securely.
Record your daily check-ins.
Send a test Safety Plan SMS when requested.
Send an emergency SMS to your trusted contact if your Safety Plan is triggered.
Improve the reliability and security of the app.
How Your Information Is Stored
Your information is securely stored using Google's Firebase services.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
SMS Messages
Check My Child uses Twilio to send SMS messages.
SMS messages are only sent:
when you request a Test Safety Plan Alert, or
when your Safety Plan is triggered after a missed check-in.
Account Security
Your account is protected using Firebase Authentication.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We only share information with trusted service providers where necessary for the app to function, including:
